Teen Speech Club

SArtsCo Teen Speech Club gives opportunities for teens to improve their speaking skills, boost confidence and give & recieve constructive feedback!

We follow a similar format to the Toastmasters International model, and every meeting is be a fun combination of hilarious, suspenseful, moving, inspiring and fun!

The environment is always positive, inclusive, encouraging, and safe, and they picked up skills that can be used the rest of their lifes!

Teen Creative Writing

SArtsCo's Teen Creative Writing Club allowed teens to work together to strengthen their imaginations and writing skills through games, activities, prompts, and collaboration.

They thought and wrote outside the box during this fun and often fast-paced class!

Stage Combat

Rachel Smith led an action-packed workshop on unarmed stage combat. Students learned safety protocols, including stage falls and partnering techniques. They practiced hand-to-hand combat moves like punches and hair pulls, and rehearsed choreographed fight sequences. The day concluded with a 3:00 PM showcase where participants demonstrated their skills.

Teen Improv Nights!

Each month, we experienced an unforgettable amount of spontaneous comedy and boundless imagination at our Teen Improv Nights! Talented young performers took the stage, weaving hilarious scenes and unforgettable characters on the spot.

From uproarious laughter to heartwarming moments, every second was an adventure. It was a whirlwind of excitement and creativity you'll be glad you were a part of!

Each time is a great learning experience and a safe place to try!

2024 Spooky Season!

"Spooky Season," our 2024 culminating event, was a fantastic showcase of talent from our youngest 1st graders all the way up to our high school students! The evening kicked off with an adorable instructor-led play performed by the littlest members, followed by a spine-tingling set of spooky-inspired songs from our talented teens.

The energy continued to build after the choir's performance with a series of captivating short plays. We wrapped up the night with a creative custom contest and a lively Spooky Dance Party!

It was truly a memorable way to end our 2024 season with a bang – or should we say, a boo!

Spring Break Drama Club: A Play in ONE Week!

We spent a week with some truly talented kids! A week-long theatrical adventure was designed for elementary school students who are eager to dive into the world of drama, creativity, and teamwork.

From day one, participants were immersed in excitement process of putting together a play in just one week.

The highlight of the week was the grand finale, where friends and family were invited to witness the magic of a fully realized play performed by the enthusiastic Drama Club members!

A Play in One Week: Start to Finish!

Immersed in scripts, wielding paintbrushes, and embracing every challenge, these young thespians dove headfirst into the exhilarating journey of putting on a production in just one week.

With passion and dedication, they explored the intricacies of theater, learning not just lines and scenes, but the essence of teamwork and creativity.

Each day was a canvas waiting to be painted with their talents, and as the curtain rose, their hard work and determination illuminated the stage, showcasing a remarkable feat of youthful artistry and ambition

Afterschool Programs

In this dynamic program, young thespians explore the magical world of theater through games, exercises, and collaborative activities. From discovering the art of storytelling to learning the basics of stagecraft, every session is a journey of creativity and self-expression.

Under the guidance of experienced instructors, children unleash their inner actors, building confidence and communication skills as they bring characters to life and explore different roles. With each rehearsal and performance, they discover the joy of teamwork and the power of their own creativity.
